The Things We Forget

The other day I was spending some time relaxing and thinking about “stuff.”  It suddenly popped in my head that I don’t really remember ANYTHING about my marriage.  I’ve only been divorced for a few years and I’m not really that old.  In hindsight, I don’t really have anything positive that I can remember.  My child is a given, she’s definitely a positive.  As a whole I remember that certain things happened, birthdays, parties, vacations, but I can’t -see- them in my mind anymore.  I just KNOW they happened.

Not sure if this is age or what…am I wrong here?  Should I really remember?
